e-Learning modules for non-profit NDRI, Inc. to train people to respond effectively to an opioid-associated overdose emergency.
Responding to an Opioid Overdose Emergency
Working with NDRI, a private, not-for-profit organization that conducts research nationwide and throughout the world, I updated and enhanced two eLearning opioid overdose training modules from Flash SWF format to HTML5, and also translated a version into Spanish. I used HTML5 canvas in Adobe Animate to create and publish the animations and timeline synced audio. These were then added to Adobe Captivate, an authoring tool for creating eLearning content. The training modules incorporated, drag-and-drop quizzes, multiple choice tests, and many animated illustrated scenes and objects. Each slide had narrated text overlays, using voice over audio from Dave DeAndrea. I also created a new logo for the GetNaloxoneNow website, a variety of event handout, posters, and graphics for social media applications.
